In Focus is the annual magazine of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE), a window into the IBE’s vision, mission, and tireless quest in pursuit of a world in which everyone is assured quality and relevant education and lifelong learning.

In Focus is available both as an online platform and as a print magazine: a collector’s item, a piece of history to own.

In Focus captures critical moments of each year and showcases IBE’s flagship programs. In Focus is more than a beautiful piece of work: it is a call to action—an invitation to the world to join the IBE’s efforts toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 and the global Education2030 agenda.

We wanted to pay homage to the renowned designer Gunter Rambow, whose work has been an endless source of inspiration. So, we worked to recreate physically and then photograph one of his illustrations for the cover. The cover shows a book that opens like a window and behind it we see the color gradient of a dawn sky.

El segundo número marcó una nueva dirección en el enfoque editorial que pasó a centrarse en dar una visión general sobre un tema actual y relevante en el campo de la educación. El tema de este número fue Educación y Futuro. Un recorrido que explora los últimos hallazgos en el campo de la neurociencia sobre cómo aprendemos y el impacto de las nuevas tecnologías en el aula.
